Motherly Love?

great photos. I'm not completely sure if it is a mother and babies. I partly wonder if the smaller ones were males. I've read that most snakes don't care for their young, but then again, I'm not exactly an expert on snakes.

Well, there was some distance between us actually. But they would have took off if we got too close.
